Dr. William Brady, the president and founder of Integrative Diagnosis, walks you through each of the seven FIRST PRINCIPLES of the ID system (really all of musculoskeletal healthcare). Doctor Holen and I discuss these principles briefly.

Find an Integrative Diagnosis provider. Chronic back pain can be solved if the provider has the appropriate level of training and skill.

For patients with acute low back pain who received first-line care, intensive patient education was no more effective than a placebo intervention. Adding complex, time-consuming treatments to primary-care based advice and reassurance is likely to be unnecessary for most patients with acute low back pain.
